Maintenance in the middle of Dark Citadel

So we were in the midst of rallying the OZY Dark Citadel, and the following comes up:

I wonder what state my shield will be in when the maintenance ends.
A visitor had just stated in the Alliance Messages, that they couldn't change their shield.
